A New Beginning in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The final part of the 2026 summer journey brought Param Pujya Mahamandaleshwar Sri Swami Avatar Puri Ji to Mostar, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, marking a special new chapter for Yoga in Daily Life in the region.
Inner Peace for Modern Times
MM Sri Swami Avatar Puri Ji visited Mostar for the first time and gave an inspiring public lecture titled, Inner Peace for Modern Times.
The programme offered an opportunity for the local community to come together, listen to the teachings of yoga and reflect on the importance of inner peace and spiritual awareness in modern life.
Opening of the first YIDL Ashram in Mostar
With the divine blessings of Vishwaguruji, Swami Avatar Puri Ji lit the holy flame and ceremonially opened the first Yoga in Daily Life ashram in Mostar.
The opening marks a beautiful new chapter for yoga, meditation and satsang in Bosnia and Herzegovina, creating a new space where people can come together for spiritual practice, learning and community.
Carrying the Inspiration Forward
The summer programmes of 2026 offered much more than a break from everyday life. Across the different locations, participants had opportunities to deepen their yoga practice, listen to inspiring teachings, experience the power of satsang and strengthen their connection with the spiritual community.
From the peaceful hills of Strilky, Czechia, to the tranquil surroundings of Vép, Hungary, through Rastovac in Croatia, and the sun-bathed Adriatic Coast in Rijeka and Split, and finally to Mostar, the summer became a journey of practice, devotion, community nourishment and inspiration.
The true value of a spiritual gathering is not only what we experience while we are together, but what we carry with us afterwards.
May the inspiration of this summer continue to grow throughout the year, as an inner spark of awareness, devotion, strength and peace.
